For use in expansion and contraction joints. Sawn end plain mild steel dowel bars are for use in movement joints. High yield ribbed tie-bars are for use in joints where the movement has restriction.

Debonding Sleeves
Supplied in various lengths and manufactured from high grade flexible PVC. Sleeves are tight fitting and are an easier way of debonding dowel bars than paint-on compounds.

Debonding Compound

Dowel End Caps
Supplied in standard 100mm lengths. Each cap is supplied with 25mm compressible filler in one end to ensure that the dowel bar is free to expand where necessary.

Manufactured from 6mm diameter drawn wire, cradles are used to support dowel bars in expansion and contraction joints. Both Expansion and Contraction Joint Cradles are supplied in 1 metre lengths.

Tying Wire Gun
This automatic gun is designed to tie reinforcing bars together quickly and saves on wire usage.

200mm long nips with plastic coated handles.
Wire Loop Ties
These can be used as an alternative to using tying wire. The wire loop ties can be bent around the reinforcement and then tied using the tying tool. Wire loop ties are available in four lengths. These ties are also available in 16 gauge (heavy duty) and PVC coating (for use with polymeric or epoxy coated steel). Sizes:

Tying Wire & Dispenser

HT Shear Kit is a simple and costeffective means of providing punching reinforcement. Stud diameters range from 8mm to 32mm to suit any slab thickness. Using bespoke software, Hy-Ten can offer a complete punching shear design service that compliments both loose bar and carpet system reinforcement.
Utilising a patented clip system to allow rapid and cost effective assembly of shear stud rails, the HT Shear Kit has been developed to allow for delivery to site prefabricated and ready to use or in a kit form for assembly on site.

Concrete Square Bars
Supplied in 1 metre lengths which can reduce time and costs compared with individual spacers. Special lengths can be made to order. Ideal for use on polythene membranes, concrete spacer bars will also accurately separate shuttering in walls and beams. They can also support accurately and securely mass reinforcement, fabricated cages and mesh.

Plastic Spacers
Castle Spacers
Are mainly used in walls and columns etc. They are designed to ensure that when clipped onto a bar the spacer cannot easily be removed. Correct cover is maintained should the spacer move around the bar.

Circular Mesh Spacers
These have been specifically designed to support mesh in slabs. They are supplied to site in flat strips 3.2m long and can be quickly and simply formed into a circle to ensure correct positioning of mesh in slabs.

Circular Clip-on Plastic Spacers
Specially designed spacers for use in pile cages. These spacers can be placed onto helicals or main bars before the cage is inserted into the pile bore. Heavy duty are also available.

Bar End Protection Caps
Bar End Protection Caps
These caps are designed to cover the ends of protruding reinforcing bars. They reduce the risk of injury caused by rough-sheared edges and are produced in yellow-coloured heavy duty PVC for high visibility.
